• For the first two months you should apply 1X daily.

• For the second two months cut application to about 3X per week.

• By the fifth month 1X a week.

This way you 'trick' your eyelash follicles to keep the lashes from cycling out. The cycle of growth seems to somehow work out better and you are less likely to have the loss.

• Apply Careprost (which is what you will be purchasing and is exactly like Latisse liquid) or Latisse, every MORNING or EVENING.  I prefer evening as it is probably not best to use makeup over it.

• You will want to purchase a small EYESHADOW brush (not an eyeliner brush) to apply the liquid. An eyeliner brush causes some of the product to get into your eyes, because it is too thin of a brush, and your eyes can become very red and bloodshot. A bit thicker brush is better .

• Simply turn the bottle sideways and squeeze out part of a drop.  Touch your brush to the drop and allow it to absorb the liquid.  Dab this wetted brush along the roots of your lashes in a similar way to applying eyeliner.  Do another drop for the other eye. 

• Don't use more than one drop per eye to minimize potential side effects of headaches and red lids.

• Only use on upper lash roots, not the lower ones.  A little will get on the lower ones anyway and you will likely see a bit longer lashes there as well, but it can easily become too much length if applied directly to the lower lash roots.

• Take great care to avoid getting the liquid anywhere other than the roots areas of the lashes.  This stuff WILL grow hair, so if you accidentally get it on your cheek, for example, you will be very unhappy with hair growing there.  It won't continue to if you don't allow the liquid to touch that area again, but you want to avoid it in the first place.

• The effects will not last if you stop using the Careprost, and the length will be lost over time.
